Flavors Unleashed in Bangkok’s Chinatown at T&K Seafood

My continued quest in search of the real deal takes me to Bangkok Thailand’s Chinatown. Tonight’s choice is a cold spicy oyster salad at TK Seafood. A tiny kitchen, an amazing display of live sea creatures and a few tables on the sidewalk make this spot a favorite for tourists and locals alike. The dish was amazing, oozing a heavenly textural sensation between the crunchy fried garlic and slimy fresh shucked oysters. This food put my mouth to work, my tastebuds recognizing all possible flavors – salty oysters, spicy red chills, bitter herbs, tossed in a sweet and acidic sauce. If you find yourself somewhere around Yaowaraj, the food choices are endless, some vendors ready to please 24 hours. Couple these eatery options with temples, colorful markets and all kinds of goods being sold along the neighborhood streets, Chinatown in Bangkok is an amazing place to eat, explore and wander.
